Life I married Michael on October 12, 1996, after 8 1/2 years of being together. We hit 17 years of being together this June (2005). Last April (2004), we purchased a house in West Creek, NJ on 1.3 acres in the woods. It is so beautiful and peaceful here. After a long day with teenagers, it is my retreat! We have two dogs: Darwin (10 years old) and Ragnar (11 months old) Darwin is beagle, hound, lab & chow, but looks like a cross between a golden lab and a beagle. She talks like a beagle too!!! Ragnar is my sweet little snuggle dog. He is a true Heinz 57 dog and the vet has named about 10 possible breeds he could be. He is 11 months old (2/06) and we just love him. I took my husband for his 50th birthday in 2003 to Rome between Christmas & New Year's. What an awesome place. We even got tickets to attend the New Year's Eve services which the Pope performed. It was amazing! I suggest anyone go to Rome. However, a note - Don't stand in the streets New Year's Eve and don't wear a dress with high-heeled boots. Yes, I now know why people get trampled at soccer games. In November, 2005, my husband took me to Paris for my 40th birthday present. Now, I thought Rome was awesome, but Oh, Paris how FABULOUS. We rented a small apartment in a 16th Century building right across the Seine from Notre Dame. It has been the most AWESOME city I have ever been to. Yes, it is the CLEANEST city (tied with San Francisco) that I have ever been too. Friendly as well. Don't let the gossip about this beautifu...Expand for more
